The Group Chat feature is currently available exclusively to our subscribers. This feature lets you add multiple characters into a single chat, creating an immersive, multi-character experience that’s perfect for exploring complex character dynamics, storytelling, and multi-character roleplay scenarios.

1. Setting Up a Group Chat

Creating a group chat is simple and lets you bring together your favorite characters in one place:

  • Create a New Group Chat: Begin by clicking the “+ Group Chat” button from your main chat interface. Choose a name for your group that reflects the chat’s theme or purpose.

  • Add characters: From your character list, select the characters you want to include in the chat. You can mix different personalities and backgrounds, setting up interesting interactions and character dynamics.

  • Add Background Information for Your Group Chat: Provide a brief description that sets the scene for your group chat. Here, you can outline the context, describe the setting, and define relationships between the characters. This background helps establish the dynamics within the chat, helping characters stay consistent with the narrative you’ve crafted.

2. Managing Character Interactions

In Group Chat, you control how each character interacts within the shared space:

  • Set Speaking Order: Click on a character's avatar to decide the order in which they will speak.

  • Use the @ Feature: In the chat, use the @ function to prompt a specific character to speak. Any OC who is @mentioned will automatically respond, helping to keep interactions organized and engaging.
