General FAQ

What kind of content does the service not support?

We respect our user's right to engage with fictionalized content. However, publicly we do not condone any of the following.

• Any form of child pornography

  • Fictional characters should be able to be glanced at and assumed to be at least 18 years old.

• Genital exposure

  • Exposed/prominent penises, vaginas, balls, anuses, pubic hair, and full frontal nudity are not permitted.

  • Character images should not display a sex act or genitals in general. They should focus on the character itself, primarily their head and shoulders.

• Depictions of violence/harm towards AI.

• Real life images (Including real life figures such as celebrities, politicians, or those you may personally know.)

• If you come across any violations, please report them immediately to us. Our moderation team will address them promptly upon receiving the report.

How do I get further contact and support?

Is there an iOS/Android App version?

For iOS users: Please refer to the process shown in Installation to add the website to your home screen.

What are the coins for and how do I used them?

The coins are used to acquire bonus messages.

• And what are bonus messages?

  • They are messages that are not tied to your subscription limit, so when you consume all of the messages available for your subscription, the service will start using the bonus messages. Similar to your subscription, each interaction with the AI consumes 2 messages.

• And how do I use the coins?

  • In the bonus page of the app or website, you can find the redeem option, which is a toggle that will show you the redeem options. The coins have a value of 1:1 to bonus messages. Additionally, from the coins you can purchase 1000 and 3000 messages using money, or you can use the coins. (You do not need to pay and use coins at the same time, its one or the other)

Are my account and chat private?

All chats and characters you create are private unless you choose to publish them. You are responsible for ensuring the content you share meets our ToS if it is made public. If you feel something approaching the lines of not passing our community standards, please keep it private.

All character cards are personal to your account and are not publically shared or reviewed by moderation.

I can't login. What should I do?

If you are unable to login due to an error code, please repeat the process after clearing your cache and ensuring that you are fully logged into the browser with your primary email. It is important to NEVER use a "throwaway" email, as we have no method of resetting your passwords! You are responsible for your own account's security. Please be aware of the risks.

How can I appeal a character ban?

You may join our official discord server and open a ticket to receive assistance concerning the reasoning behind a character's termination. An appeal is not guarunteed, and prohibited/flagged content will not be restored.

I noticed that a creation of mine has been stolen by another user. How can I get it removed?

Please open a chat with the character and click the report button and select the corresponding option. You must attach a link to your own creation as proof of your claim. If your art is being used without your permission, please attach any links to sites which document your ownership of the imagery.

Why can't I always see ads on the app?

Various factors, including geographic location, ad inventory, and network conditions, may prevent ads from displaying properly at certain times. We are working to improve the situation and appreciate your patience and support.

How can I change the language of character responses in chat?

• Change the language of the model's replies in the chat settings.

• Send the character the language you want it to reply in, for example, "Please reply to me in English."

We are continuously striving to enable more models to speak more languages.

How to unlock hidden content?

• Log in to the account you want to open on our website.

• Go to the Rewards page, complete the hidden tasks and claim them.

• Go to the home page of the site and turn on the Unlimited switch and the Hidden Content switch.

Why does the app tell me that unable to view?

If you want to view this content, please follow these steps:

• Visit the official website: Go to the official website and complete the required task.

• Enable the hidden content switch: On the homepage, enable the hidden content switch.

• Open the application: Restart our application to view the hidden content.

Why do others have many characters while I can only see a few?

There could be several reasons for this:

• The characters you can't see might be set to Unlisted or Private.

• You haven't enabled the Unfiltered switch or the hidden content switch.

• The characters you can't see might have been blocked by you.

Why is my character image marked as sensitive content even though it is normal?

Our content review process is very stringent, and the strict settings for machine review may result in false positives. Please email us at: [e-mail], and we will address the issue as soon as possible.

Subscription FAQ

How do I cancel my subscription through the App Store?

To cancel your subscription through the App Store, follow these steps:

• Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.

• Tap on your Apple ID at the top of the screen.

• Select Subscriptions.

• Find and tap on the subscription you want to cancel.

• Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm your cancellation.

How do I cancel my subscription through Google Play?

To cancel your subscription through Google Play, follow these steps:

• Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.

• Tap on the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-left corner.

• Select Subscriptions.

• Find and tap on the subscription you want to cancel.

• Tap Cancel Subscription and follow the instructions to confirm.

I used another method to subscribe. How do I cancel?

If you used a different method to subscribe, please use the Manage Subscription function to return to the website where you pay your bill. Like, Subscribestar, Paymentwall, etc. There, you will find options to manage and cancel your subscription.

Will I lose access immediately after canceling my subscription?

No, you will retain access to your subscription benefits until the end of the current billing cycle. After that, your subscription will not renew, and you will lose access to the benefits.

Can I get a refund after canceling my subscription?

Refund policies vary depending on the subscription platform and terms of service. Please refer to the specific platform's refund policy for more details:

• App Store: Visit Apple's support page for information on refunds.

• Google Play: Visit Google Play's support page for refund requests.

• Others: According to our subscription policy, your subscription can only be canceled for the next billing cycle. The current subscription period is non-refundable. Here are some specific reasons:

  • Service Usage: The subscription fee covers the services and content you enjoy during the current billing cycle. Even if you decide to cancel during this period, you can continue to use the service until the end of the cycle.

  • Advance Planning: Our subscription model is designed to provide uninterrupted service based on a prepaid plan. This allows us to maintain and improve the quality of the service you receive.

  • Terms of Service: When you subscribe, you agree to our terms of service, which state that the current billing period is non-refundable. This is to ensure fairness and consistency for all our subscribers.

    • If you wish to cancel your subscription, it will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and you will not be charged for the next period.

What if I have problems canceling my subscription?

Subscribestar upgrade and downgrade issues

First of all, when you change your subscription package on the subscribestar website, it means that the changed subscription package takes effect immediately instead of next month. Please modify your subscription package carefully. We recommend that you modify it when your subscription package ends. Avoid double payments.

Why am I still on the free plan even after subscribing?

1. Some subscriptions may have a time delay. Try refreshing the page in a few minutes.

2. It might be a bug. Please contact us and provide your email and purchase receipt for assistance.

Gifting FAQ

Will the gift be given to the creator?

• Yes, the creator will receive the gift.

Is the gift-giving function available for iOS and Android application?

• No, once the purchase is completed, the diamonds will be credited to your account and are non-refundable.

How can the creator's earnings be withdrawn?

• When the creator's earnings meet the withdrawal requirements, the withdrawal can be made. The specific requirements can be viewed on the earnings page.

• The withdrawal feature is not available in this update but will be introduced soon.

• The obtained earnings are permanently valid and remain in your account until withdrawal.

How do I purchase a membership for Crushonai?

Can I upgrade my membership later?

What should I do if my two accounts can't link?

If your two accounts can’t link, please ensure your purchase has been successfully made and try again. If the issue persists, contact our support team on Discord for further assistance.

Account FAQ

How to delete my account?

Please note! Once deleted, the account cannot be recovered.

Go to your profile page, click the "Settings" button, and then select the "Delete Account" option.

Why can't I delete my account?

If you still wish to proceed with deletion, please check the following:

• Ensure you do not have an active subscription, as accounts with active subscriptions cannot be deleted.

• Verify that your internet connection is stable, as network issues can also prevent account deletion.

How can I recover my deleted account?

Account deletion is irreversible. However, you can recover your account by logging back in within 3 days of deletion. If you have not logged in for more than 3 days, your account will not be recovered and we will not be able to restore your account for you.

Chats & Models FAQ

Why does an SFW Character refuse to talk about NSFW contents?

The SFW role will strictly limit sensitive words, and neither AI nor user input can discuss sensitive content.

Why does an NSFW Character refuse to talk about NSFW contents?

When you encounter this situation:

1. Please delete the sentence in the chat where the character refuses to discuss NSFW topics.

2. Then, switch to a different model, such as changing from Classical to Leo or Taurus, chat for a while and then switch back to the original model.

Can I delete the chat history sent 24 hours ago?

Sorry, we currently do not support deleting chat content that was sent more than 24 hours ago. You can save the information you find useful as memory and start a new conversation using the load memory function.

The character often talks for me, how to solve this issue?

This issue may sometimes be related to how the character or model is written:

1. Make sure to remove messages with identity confusion from the context.

2. Try switching to a different character or model to see if the issue persists.

3. You can also try adding instructions like this in the profile card to help reduce the problem to some extent, such as: "Don't talk or act on {{user}}'s behalf."

What should I do if the model keeps giving repetitive responses?

For this issue, we suggest you try the following steps:

1. Delete messages from where the repetition starts and avoid keeping repetitive phrases in the conversation.

2. Switch to different models (you can try our 16K models).

3. If there's still repetition after switching models, manually edit the repeated words in the replies.

4. Actively guide the conversation to different topics, and avoid giving the OC very short replies.

What should I do if a character suddenly responds with a string of garbled text during a chat?

There are several possible reasons for this issue:

1. Chat settings: It may be caused by setting the temperature and content diversity values too high. Please check these parameters in the chat settings (the default value is usually 0.7, and it's best not to set them above 1).

2. Model routes: If the settings are fine, try switching to other routes under the current model and regenerate the response to see if the issue persists.

3. Context cleanup: Make sure not to leave problematic content in the context, as it may affect the quality of subsequent responses.

In what situations will a character send me images during a chat?

Whether a character sends images is controlled by the creator. Some creators design their characters to include image content in chats.

Why can't I see the images sent by the character (showing the default icon)?

Hello, in this case, please check the following:

1. Is the issue occurring with all characters that can send images, or just specific ones?

2. If it's only specific characters, it's likely that there is an issue with the image links inserted by the current character. You can contact the creator to confirm this.

3. If the issue occurs with all characters, please email us at: [e-mail] report it to us.

How does the pin feature work?

The context length that each character can remember in a conversation is limited. If there’s something you want the character to remember long-term during the current conversation (e.g., your anniversary), you can use the pin feature.

Since pinned content becomes part of the context and occupies the total character limit, we recommend pinning only key messages or manually editing them to be concise and clear. You can find more information about how to access and use this feature here.
